Weekly Happenings
3/30 Feasty Fifth
It’s the fifth Sunday of the month, so why not feast?! On March 30th, in lieu of our usual Sunday worship, we’re going to host a brunch and have a morning of community and food. Bring a brunch dish to share.
4/8 IMPACT Nehemiah Action
Vineyard's Justice Ministry is a formal network of relationships that engages the entire church in doing justice. The time has finally come to demonstrate our people power for justice wins on Affordable Housing in Albemarle County and Improved Transit in the city.
On Tuesday, April 8th, we will meet as a church for a justice tailgate at McIntyre Park from 4:30-6:00 to eat great food while we get organized and excited about what we want to see God do.
Then, we will walk over together to join the Nehemiah Action at Charlottesville High School’s Martin Luther King Jr. Center for the Performing Arts by 6:30. (Childcare will be provided, and children are counted in our numbers.)
If you need tickets or have any questions? Carissa Phillips or Crystal Seek can help.
4/18-20 Easter Weekend
Join your Vineyard family to remember Jesus’s death and resurrection on Easter weekend.
On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’s death on the cross. Join us for a reflective time of prayer and worship: Friday, April 18th, 5:30pm at Woolen Mills Chapel (1819 E Market St).
On Easter Sunday, we celebrate Jesus’s resurrection! Join us on April 20th for a joyous Sunday service, followed by a picnic at Byron and Rie Harris’s home (844 Village Rd, right by Johnson Elementary). More details to come!
6/20-21 Vineyard Retreat
Join your Vineyard family for a time of fun, rest, and fellowship with each other and with God. The retreat will be Friday evening and all day Saturday, June 20-21, at Eagle Eyrie Conference Center near Lynchburg. All are welcome! More information will be shared in the coming weeks - for now, mark your calendar.
